Join Sacramento Republic FC for an Indoor Soccer Winter Tournament. The tournament will run on two separate dates, with the boys’ tournament taking place on Dec. 27 and the girls’ on Dec. 29. The tournament will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on each day at Vacaville Indoor Sports Complex
The winning team of each age bracket will receive a 60-minute private, team training session with Republic FC staff.
This is the second indoor winter tournament hosted by Republic FC, which is being expanded to include a U-18 bracket for both the boys’ and girls’. The Indoor Winter Tournament is the last Republic FC Camps and Clinics presented by Raley’s and Bel Air event of the year and space is limited.
There are six age groups for both the boys’ and girls’ tournaments: U-8, U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16 and U-18. Each age group will have a total of four teams. All teams must have a minimum of five athletes on each roster and no more than 10, with each team guaranteed three matches during the tournament.
Matches will be 24 minutes long and consist of two 12-minute halves in addition to a two-minute halftime break. Each age group will include a round-robin style bracket.
Games will be officiated by Republic FC Video Analyst and Camps and Clinics Coordinator Chris Malenab as well as other Republic FC staff.
Interested teams need to register by 12 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 23. Registration cost per team is $225, with each required to register at least five players and no more than 10. All skill levels are welcome.
