Head Coach Ian Russell’s side sit atop Division A with three points from one match and his team should be feeling pretty confident heading into the restructured season given the club’s 2019 performances against the rest of the division. Last year, 1868 FC boasted a +9 goal differential in six regular season contests against Div-A teams with a 4-1-1 record.
Reno is hoping to build off last season’s franchise-best 60 points and with star striker Corey Hertzog – who currently has the fourth-most goals in league history with 62 – leading the frontline alongside offseason acquisition Foster Langsdorf from Portland Timbers 2, 1868 FC’s dynamic attack makes the Nevadan club a force to be reckoned with this season.
