Today, Sacramento Republic FC announced the club’s 2022 USL Championship preseason schedule, including a home friendly that will be open to the public. Republic FC will open Training Camp, presented by Western Health Advantage, on February 1.
Fans can get their first look at the 2022 squad on Saturday, March 5 at 1:00 p.m., when Republic FC hosts league newcomers Monterey Bay FC in its only open-door friendly at Heart Health Park. The match is included in the 2022 Full Season Indomitable Member ticket package; single-match tickets will be available in the coming weeks.
Following the friendly, Indomitable Members will have exclusive access to the annual Meet the Team event where they will have the opportunity to take photos, get autographs, and partake in unique experiences with the Boys in Old Glory Red. In addition to exclusive events like Meet the Team, 2022 Indomitable memberships include access to year-round exclusive events, the ultimate flexibility to swap or resell tickets, and discounts on in-stadium beverages and parking.
In addition to the March 5 friendly, Republic FC will travel to Southern California for closed-door training sessions, as well as a scrimmage against Las Vegas Lights FC. They will then meet up with the Earthquakes in San Jose before returning to the Indomitable City to scrimmage USL League One side Central Valley Fuego FC – all of which will be closed-door matches. Additional matches will be added to the preseason schedule during February’s training camp.
The 9th USL Championship season will kick off at home on Saturday, March 12, when the Indomitable Club hosts El Paso Locomotive at Heart Health Park. The regular-season schedule features 34 fixtures – 17 in Sacramento – beginning mid-March and concluding on Saturday, October 15 at home against San Diego Loyal SC. Check out the full schedule here.
