Sine 2019, Republic FC has teamed up with local Chambers of Commerce to proudly offer three annual scholarships: the Black History Month Scholarship, Pride Month Scholarship, and El Futuro Scholarship. Each $1,000 scholarship recognizes outstanding students for their achievements and contributions to their communities. Recipients are honored at a Sacramento Republic FC home match during the respective month, celebrating their dedication to education and leadership.
SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION PROCESS
- Eligibility Check: Ensure you meet the scholarship criteria for the Black History Month, Pride Month, or El Futuro Scholarship.
- Complete the Application: Fill out the online application form, including a personal essay detailing your achievements, community involvement, and future goals.
- Submit Supporting Documents: Provide necessary documents, such as transcripts and letters of recommendation.
- Review & Selection: Applications are reviewed by our scholarship committee in partnership with local Chambers of Commerce.
- Award Notification: Winners will be notified and invited to be honored at a Sacramento Republic FC home match during the respective month.

Black History Month Scholarship: Opens in February 2025
Guidelines:
- Currently enrolled at an eligible high school or currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 units at a California Community College at the time application
- Must live in the Sacramento Six-County Regional area: Sacramento, El Dorado, Placer, Sutter, Yolo, & Yuba counties.
- Intend to enroll in a four-year college or university or a California Community College [in at least 12 units]
- Recipient will be honored at our home opener match, must be available to attend
Pride Month Scholarship: Opens in May 2025
Guidelines:
- Currently enrolled at an eligible high school or currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 units at a California Community College at the time application
- Must live in the Sacramento Six-County Regional area: Sacramento, El Dorado, Placer, Sutter, Yolo, & Yuba counties.
- Intend to enroll in a four-year college or university or a California Community College [in at least 12 units]
- Recipient will be honored at our Pride Night match, must be available to attend
El Futuro Scholarship: Opens in August 2025
Guidelines:
- Currently enrolled at an eligible high school or currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 units at a California Community College at the time application
- Must live in the Sacramento Six-County Regional area: Sacramento, El Dorado, Placer, Sutter, Yolo, & Yuba counties.
- Intend to enroll in a four-year college or university or a California Community College [in at least 12 units]
- Recipient will be honored at our Noche Latina match, must be available to attend
